Laurie
Duperier
Ms. Duperier was appointed Vice President & Associate General
Counsel of Altria Corporate Services, Inc. (ALCS) in December
2004, a position she held until June 2008. Ms. Duperier joined
ALCS from Philip Morris International (“PMI”), where she was
Vice President, Compliance Systems and headed the PMI Compliance
Department. Prior to that, she served as Assistant General
Counsel, Regulatory Affairs, working both in Hong Kong, China
and Lausanne, Switzerland. Prior to joining PMI, Ms. Duperier
was Special Counsel to the Director of Trading and Markets at
the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Ms. Duperier has also
practiced law at the law firms of Arnold & Porter and Shearman &
Sterling, where she defended large corporations in civil
litigation.
Ms. Duperier graduated cum laude in 1990 with a J.D. and
a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown
University in Washington, DC. She graduated summa cum laude
in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University in
Texas where she majored in French and English.

Epperson
Mr. Epperson is the President and CEO of The Epperson Group,
where he directs The Epperson Group's investment strategy and
consulting services, providing early stage start-up companies
with seed capital and mentoring to help them develop innovative
technologies, reach crucial milestones, and manage growth. A
dedicated entrepreneur and angel investor, he has been working
with technology-based start-up companies since 1994. Mr.
Epperson also serves as the Chairman and CEO of R7 Solutions,
Inc., a provider of GIS systems.
Prior to The Epperson Group and R7 Solutions, Inc., Mr. Epperson
was the co-founder and CTO of Questia Media, founder and CEO of
ManorNet, Ltd., and Product Manager of Internet Hosting Services
for Interliant. Mr. Epperson also teaches Entrepreneurial
Leadership in the New Economy, one of the anchor courses in Rice
University's selective undergraduate leadership program.
Mr. Epperson earned a B.A., cum laude and with Honors,
from Rice University in 1995.
Jeffrey
Johnson
Mr. Johnson currently serves as Senior Vice President and
General Manager for Government Services of Iron Mountain, Inc.,
a $2.5+ billion provider of professional business services
including information management, records management and data
protection services to clients in North America, Europe, Latin
America, and the Asia/Pacific.
Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Mr. Johnson served as Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer of Arcemus, LLC, a provider of
electronic records management services to Global 2000 clients.
Arcemus was acquired by Iron Mountian in May 2004. Mr. Johnson’s
extensive experience also includes full time management
positions with Accenture, Inc. and VeriSign, Inc.
Mr. Johnson is a 1987 graduate of James Madison University where
he earned a B.B.A. in Marketing and Economics.
Samir Patel
Mr. Patel currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of
Ripplex, Inc., a software research and development company based
in Japan. Mr. Patel is also involved with a number of
semiconductor design companies in advisory and consulting roles.
From March 1991 to December 2006, Mr. Patel held various
positions with Rambus, Inc., a company best known for its
development of high-speed interfaces for video game consoles and
graphics workstations. From February 2006 to December 2006, Mr.
Patel served as Rambus’s Senior Vice President for Product
Development and Production. Immediately prior to that position,
Mr. Patel served as Managing Director of Rambus, India.
Mr. Patel has completed 40 units of course work towards his
Ph.D. at Stanford University.
He earned an M.S. degree in 1983 from the University of
California, Santa Barbara.
In 1982, Mr. Patel graduated 3rd in his class with a degree in
electrical and computer science from the Indian Institute of
Technology, Bombay.
