Michael Geske sits on Aphelion's Board and was Chief Operating Officer from September 2007 through January 2011.  Before that he practiced 17 years as a litigator at Arnold & Porter LLP. His experience includes all phases of complex civil litigation, including federal bench and jury trials and appeals. He has represented many Fortune 200 companies in antitrust and products liability matters, federal and state securities cases, and regulatory and administrative inquiries, including, HSR pre-merger investigations and other high profile matters..

At both Aphelion and Arnold & Porter, Mike has planned, executed, and supervised scores of discovery reviews, document productions, and privilege logs.  His work regularly involves training and supervising large legal teams to analyze tens of millions of relevant documents, defending the results in state and federal tribunals, and coordinating affirmative and defensive disocvery plans with trial and other legal strategies. He has served as a Topic Authority for TREC Legal Track in 2009 and 2010 exercises.
